The people of khusrupur station in Bihar incensed by the announcement of the stoppages cancelled at their station by several trains engaged in uprooting the railway lines.
The rail lines were uprooted for about 32 Km from Patna under the Danapur division. According to the Deputy Superintendent Of railway Department, Rajendar Singh, several localists of the village ransacked the station and burnt it down completely destroying several railway equipments, ticket counter and then tried to uproot the rail lines also.
This shows the rage of the people in the nearly villages of Khusrupur after the withdrawal of stoppage of several important trains. They attacked the 3226, the Intercity Express near Baikatpur village torching three bogies of the train - 2 general compartments and an AC compartment.
Relief measures are in progress and reinforcements were sent out to bring the situation under control.
