A Pro -LTTE website "TamilNet" has published that the LTTE Supremo Velupillai Prabhakaran is "alive and safe"
LTTE's International Relations Head S. Pathmanathan has accused the Srilankan Govt for killing the political wing leaders Nadesan and Pulidevan. He assuringly confirmed Prabhakaran's safety and well-being rejecting Srilankan's claim over killing Prabhakaran.
" I wish to inform the Global Tamil Community distressed and witnessing the final events of war that our beloved leader Velupillai Prabhakaran is alive and safe. He will continue to lead the quest for dignity and freedom of Tamil people" - quoted S.Pathmanathan as said by Tamilnet website.
Although the site claims Prabhakaran is alive, his whereabouts are not disclosed. Meanwhile, the so-called Prabhakaran's body caught up fire as his soul rested in a small stretch of land in the coast of Mullitivu district where he had his hiding place sometime ago.
The Govt of India has seeked the original death certificate of Prabhakaran to confirm his death from the Srilankan Govt.
